While studying at the Philological Faculty of Moscow State University, I sang with the amateur student theatre. Gradually my desire to sing professionally became overwhelming, so quite unexpectedly I chose to enter the Vocal Faculty of the Gnesins Music College and later of the Gnesins Academy of Music. I also performed as soloist with the Sveshnikov State Choir. One of my favorite works is Verdi’s Requiem. In 1982 I performed in the Milan Opera Theatre “La Scala”. I have sung with “Zlatoust” from its first day. I much appreciate the warm and friendly relationship between the members of the ensemble.
