Elena Mikhailyuk,
soprano, choirmaster,
designer of traditional style costumes.

Strange as it may seem, I still cannot make up my mind which aspect of my profession is the most important for me. My mother wanted me to become a musician and with her encouragement I studied easily and with real pleasure. I graduated from the conducting faculty of the Shnitke Music College and Gnesins Academy of Music. I am very experienced in working with children’s choirs. I have been with “Zlatoust” for 8 years and enjoy singing and making arrangements and interpretations for our ensemble. I have a passion for jazz and at the moment I am studying at the Moscow College of Improvisational Music. My hobby is studying the traditions of national costume.
