The Zlatoust Moscow Ensemble of Soloists

This wonderful performance encompasses a wide variety of music from classical to folk songs, providing listeners with an inspiring atmosphere of a music festival!

Classical performances comprise music written by Russian composers between the 18th and 20th centuries (Bortnyanski, Vedel, Azeev, Frunza, Tchaikovsky, Chesnokov, Rachmaninov).

There are also Russian folk-songs which constitute the central element of the concert. Marvel at the colourful national costumes and the vigour and passion of the artists.

Founded in 1990 by a young and talented conductor, Mikhail Borodyansky, the Zlatoust Ensemble has united a group of graduates of the Russian Gnessin Academy of Music and the Moscow P.I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory and they are now acclaimed throughout the world.

At present, there are 10 excellent singers in the Ensemble, who are winners of many international competitions.

The group is engaged in many concerts both in Russia and abroad, and also performs at many international projects and charity concerts.

The Ensemble has had a great success with audiences in Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Great Britain, Germany, Holland, India, Spain, Italy, China, Portugal, France, Singapore, South Korea, Japan.

Concerts of the Zlatoust Ensemble of Soloists performed at the Glazunov Art Gallery in Moscow are included in most tour programs for foreign visitors to Moscow, alongside with such highlights as the Kremlin, the State Tretyakov Gallery and the Bolshoi Theatre.
